On October 28, 6 Malaysian students sponsored by CHEC left for Southwest Jiaotong University to further their studies. The students participating in this international student program will spend three to four years in Southwest Jiaotong University, and after graduation, they will devote themselves to the development of Malaysia's railways.
The international student program is part of the Malaysia MRT2 Track and Maintenance Vehicle Project to realize the industrial cooperation program of Malaysia as required by the contract, aiming to improve Malaysia’s local industrial level and cultivate and develop its technical capability. This program has been highly appreciated by the local community, and it is another clear-cut proof that CHEC is fulfilling its social responsibility and giving back to the local society, further consolidating its WOM (word of mouth) in the local society.
