Mr Tang Qiaoliang, President of CHEC met Manasseh Sogavare, Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, in the company of Pan Qingjiang, Vice President of CHEC on October 12.
Mr Tang Qiaoliang introduced to Prime Minister Sogavare, the development situation of CHEC in such fields as ports, roads, airports and energy development and focused on introducing CHEC's ongoing and completed projects in Papua New Guinea, Nauru and Solomon Islands in the South Pacific Region. He said that CHEC was willing to actively participate in the infrastructure construction of Solomon Islands and serve the government of Solomon Islands as an investor, contractor, operator and other capacities. He also hoped that both parties would deepen cooperation and jointly work relentlessly in the field of infrastructure construction.
Prime Minister Sogavare introduced Solomon Islands' future development plan. He hoped that CHEC would continuously give play to its strengths and devote itself to the infrastructure construction of Solomon Islands and together with Solomon Islands promote local infrastructure construction.
Relevant officials of the CHEC Market Development Department, CHEC South Pacific Region Management Center and CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. attended this meeting.
