CHEC recently won the bid for the second section of Rama III-Dao Khanong-Bangkok West Outer Ring High-speed Road and Bridge Project in Thailand. The construction period of this section is 39 months, with the Elevated Highway Authority of Thailand as the project owner.
Rama III-Dao Khanong-Bangkok West Outer Ring High-speed Road and Bridge Project in Thailand is one of the construction projects in its second phase of the Elevated Highway Network in Bangkok Metropolis. With a total length of about 18.69km, this Project is divided into five sections; with the second section been about 5.32km long. With the Y-type cast-in-place pile design, it is a two-way six-lane asphalt concrete elevated highway.
Upon completion, this Project will be beneficial in easing the overland traffic congestion in the central Bangkok Metropolis and the Thon Buri District in the west, greatly reducing the daily commuting time of surrounding residents and improving travel efficiency.
