On October 4, the Project Department of Tiba Bay New Container Terminal and Alola Foundation in Timor-Leste jointly organized the health public welfare activity themed "Pink October, Care for Breast Cancer". Several important political officials of Timor-Leste, including Taur Matan Ruak, current Prime Minister, Xanana Gusmao, former Prime Minister, Sala , Finance Minister and Bonifacio , Health Minister attended this Activity.
Mr Xanana pointed out in his speech that, as an internationally renowned company, CHEC actively performs its social responsibilities, cares for local employees and creates value for the local society while performing the contract with high quality in the Tiba Port Project. He affirmed CHEC’s efforts to actively integrate Timor-Leste.
Tiba Bay New Container Terminal Project mainly comprises of the construction of a hydraulic structure for two new container berths (630m long and 51m wide), channel dredging, rear land formation, foundation treatment, bank revetment and other ancillary facilities.
Alola Foundation aims to promote the health, education and employment of women and children. It is one of the largest non-governmental organizations with the greatest influence in Timor-Leste.
