Mr. Lin Yichong Met with President Adama Barrow of Gambia

On December 21, at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Mr. Lin Yichong - Chairman of CHEC, called on Mr. Adama Barrow - President of Gambia who paid a state visit to China. Both parties had an in-depth communication about and exchanged their ideas about the cooperation in the infrastructure field.

Mr. Lin Yichong first extended warm welcome to President Adama Barrow and introduced the main achievements and progress of key projects of CHEC to him. Mr. Lin indicated that infrastructure construction was the guarantee for the national economic development and that CHEC's business areas and capabilities totally accorded with the development need of Gambia. He hoped to further strengthen the cooperation with Gambia, give play to its advantages, promote relevant projects and make contributions to the economic and livelihood development of Gambia.

President Adama Barrow said he was happy to meet with the representative of CHEC during his visit to China. Since CHEC's capabilities are widely recognized and enjoys a good reputation in the infrastructure construction field, he hoped that CHEC and Gambia could together further promote the rapid social and economic development of Gambia through the cooperation in relevant projects.
