On July 14th, CHEC Chairman Lin Yichong attended CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) 2016 International Forum in Hong Kong and gave a keynote speech titled Highlighting major global expansion plans and assessing future construction forecasts and collaboration.
In his speech, Lin Yichong introduced the international infrastructure interconnectivity plan launched by China, CHEC’s development history and excellence performance in the international market in recent years to the elites of the construction industry from all over the world, and in combination with three practice cases of CHEC, he shared the future development trend of the construction industry with other participants and answered relevant questions.
CIOB was established in 1834. Since its establishment, it has been dedicated to the enhancement of the technological and practical level of the construction field, as a pioneer of establishing, promoting and maintaining the best standard in the construction industry, with the title of royal charted institute. At present, it has over 50,000 members in more than 100 countries and regions in the world, and Hong Kong is the largest branch outside UK. An international forum was held every year. This is the first time that the forum has been held in Hong Kong.
