The project includes a 252-hectare water storage reservoir with a submerged area that directs a portion of the river water of the Petorka River to the reservoir through a 57-kilometer water supply channel, and uses the remaining water resources to protect the surrounding fruit farmers during the severe drought season. The demand for water is about 1986 square kilometers. The franchise period of the project is 19 years.
